Lightning Sports Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Mario Cicchillo as its new Executive VP and General Manager.  Mario has a proven and winning track record throughout his young but successful career in Hockey.

Mario's experience includes:

5 YEARS as Head and/or Assistant Coach of the Mississauga and Niagara Falls Ice Dogs of the OHL. During that tenure, he was also an Assistant Head Coach in the 2004-05 OHL All-Star game.  In addition, Mario was also Head Coach of the undefeated Team Ontario at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge last year.

Prior to these posts, Mario Coached in the OHA Junior 'A' league with the Milton Merchants where he amassed a 41-6 -1 record. Prior to that, he coached the Brampton Capitals where he captured an OPJHL Championship was an All-Star coach and Dudley Hewett finalist.

Mario has many accomplishments and has built a lot of contacts in the hockey world. Mario will be taking on the daily operations of the Dixie Beehives with only one goal: Building a winner and developing players to move to the next level.
